Qualcomm is developing a new generation of Snapdragon processors from the 6XXX series, in which support for higher refresh rates – up to 144 Hz – can be added. Thanks to that, smartphones will provide a better experience in using the phones.
SM6375
According to the WinFuture website, Qualcomm is developing a processor codenamed SM6375 – it may appear on the market as Snapdragon 695. It will be a system with four large cores clocked at 2.1-2.5 GHz and four small cores clocked at 1.8-2.2 GHz. A screen refresh rate high of 144 Hz is also expected. According to a Qualcomm source, it could produce both the basic Snapdragon 695 model and the Snapdragon 695G for gamers.
SM6225
In addition, Qualcomm is also developing the SM6225 processor. However, the details of this product were not disclosed. Looking at the model number, it should be the successor of the Snapdragon 665. It is known that the SM6225 will use an eight-core processor, support 5G networks and will support a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Both processors will be manufactured by TSMC.
