Samsung with Snapdragon Overclocked
We already know that Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones will use only Qualcomm processors (in America and in Europe), not like the previous series where people from Europe have Samsung Exynos.
Additionally today there is another information indicating that these systems will be better than exact those processors in competitors.
Galaxy S23 series will get overclocked Snapdragons appeared some time ago, but today these rumors are repeated and confirmed by some websites. According to these reports, Samsung will actually use a modified version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will be a variant prepared exclusively for the Korean company, as evidenced by the name: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, like the usual “Eight”, is to be created in the 4 nm lithographic process, but not in TSMC factories, but in Samsung-controlled factories.
In this system, the main Cortex-X3 core is to work with a clock speed raised from 3.2 to 3.36 GHz. The other elements of the system will be the same as in the typical version of the processor, available from other manufacturers.
