The new series of mobile processors are named after the Chinese mountain range. The Tanggula series chips will be divided into several series, numbered from 6 to 9. Of course, “Sixes” will be systems for budget phones, while “Nines” will go to the flagship versions. All systems are to be equipped with 5G modems.

At the beginning, three processors from the 7 series were presented – that is, intended for medium models. The weakest, T740, has four A75 cores and four A55, IMG9446 graphics and support for QHD + 60 Hz screens, LPDDR4x memory, UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1. This system is created in 12 nm lithography, and the next two – at 6 nm. T760 consists of A76 and A55 (4 + 4) cores and ARM Mali-G57 graphics. In this system we already have support for 90 Hz screens (but FHD +) and UFS 3.1 memory. The most powerful midrange – T770 – also has G57 graphics, but it is made of four A55 cores, three A76 and one A76 with higher clock speeds. We can expect the first smartphones with Tanggula processors at the end of summer or early autumn.
