What a strange company?

Xiaomi Corporation – registered in Asia as Xiaomi Inc., is a Chinese multinational electronics company founded in April 2010 and headquartered in Beijing. Xiaomi makes and invests in smartphones, mobile apps, laptops, home appliances, bags, shoes, consumer electronics, and many other products.

Xiaomi released its first smartphone in August 2011 and rapidly gained market share in China to become the country's largest smartphone company in 2014.

Second place on the podium!

Canalys presented a report on the delivery of smartphones in the second quarter of 2021. Xiaomi seems to have overtaken Apple and is the second manufacturer in the world.

Contrary to various problems, Xiaomi is going up like a storm and has just overtaken Apple in the number of smartphones produced.

The company delivered 83% more devices than a year ago and outperformed Apple, which is only a 1% increase. Samsung remains the undefeated king, with a 19% share in global smartphone shipments and increased them by 15%.

The remaining Chinese giants from the top five, i.e. Vivo and Oppo, each have a 10% share and are recording a 28% increase. If you sum up both BBK-related companies – they would already be in the lead of the ranking. Remember that the report tells about the number of devices produced and delivered to retail chains – not actually sold.

Millions of devices to choose from?

Xiaomi has gained its position thanks to a brilliant policy and devices that are very well-designed for users. The company plays on all fronts, from budget devices to flagship models that can compete with the best phones in the world.

POCO is a sub-brand owned by the Chinese electronics company Xiaomi Corporation. It was first announced in August 2018 as a mid-range smartphone line.

You can see that the potential buyer has a lot to choose from. All models work under the Android operating system, with all the benefits of Google, but in their own system overlay called MIUI.

Xiaomi's future?

Hopefully the company will not follow Huawei’s footsteps. Appropriate politics and management of the company is essential so that it does not suddenly stop outside the Asian market.

Xiaomi can not follow the path of Huaweii!

Oftentimes the company’s flagship phones don’t make it to many countries. Even when they do, they are usually sold out quickly, which would have been great news, if it didn’t mean short supply. For example, now, the Mi 11 Ultra is nowhere to be seen in Europe. Your only option is importing the phone from China.

However, what’s not OK is that bran is recognized as a “budget” or “mid-range” producer. Xiaomi is now aiming at the big smartphones, with the big money, and big… capabilities.

You should now wait for the new flagship model, the MIUI 12 system and hassle-free deliveries from Asia. Maybe XIAOMI will remain the TOP1 leader among smartphones?
